A Thousand Kisses Deep

“Christine Tobin is in a class of her own singing Leonard Cohen.”
– The Guardian

“One of the most gifted and original singer/songwriters in today’s jazz world.”
– BBC Music Magazine

Multi-award winning Irish jazz and world music singer Christine Tobin will perform songs from her album A Thousand Kisses Deep, her salute to singer, songwriter, and poet Leonard Cohen. Tobin’s own songwriting specializes in idiosyncratic, poetic vignettes, so it's no surprise to find her weaving magic around Cohen's sensual and mysterious songs. Her masterful arrangements and captivating delivery bring a special luminosity to his work. Acclaimed jazz guitarist Phil Robson, double bassist Thomson Kneeland, and percussionist Francisco Mela will accompany her on this evening to remember.
