New York, NY 10012

Every fall, music fans, industry insiders and top artists from across the globe descend upon New York City for the annual CMJ Music Marathon, one of the world’s most important outlets for the discovery of new music.

And we’ve invited the Irish bands at CMJ to drop by the Red Lion, so you can preview their music. Last year’s showcase featured So Cow, Lisa O’Neill, The Lost Brothers, Bouts and Squarehead. Be among the first to check out the newest acts from Ireland this year with this our second Music From Ireland showcase presenting the newest crop of emerging Irish bands and singer-songwriters.

First Music Contact, in partnership with Culture Ireland, delivers the Music From Ireland Project which funds the Irish showcases at Eurosonic, SXSW , Canadian Music Week, The Great Escape and CMJ. Bands are selected by the festivals and we then fund, plan, promote and produce the bands and their showcases.
