“The most imaginative, appealing, and stimulating Irish Christmas show to be seen and heard in America—bar none.” - Earle Hitchner, Irish Echo

Enjoy An Irish Christmas, now in its seventh year, at Symphony Space for a special benefit of the critically-acclaimed holiday concert on Sunday, December 15. Mick Moloney will lead a cast of America's top Irish and world musicians through a truly unique journey of music, dance and storytelling where one and all are welcome. Each year, sold-out audiences have reveled in the warm glow of this intimate event that features songs like "The January Man," "Christmas in the Trenches," and the perennial sing along favorite "Miss Fogarty's Christmas Cake." Past special guests have included Gabriel Byrne, Dan Barry, Colum McCann, Michael Patrick MacDonald, Belinda McKeon, Malachy McCourt, Sebastian Junger and Christine Quinn.

Special Guest Gabriel Byrne is an Irish actor, film director, film producer, writer, and audiobook narrator. His acting career began in the Focus Theatre before he joined London's Royal Court Theatre in 1979. Byrne's screen debut came in the Irish soap opera The Riordans and the spin-off show Bracken. He has now starred in over 35 feature films, such as The Usual Suspects, Miller's Crossing, Stigmata and End of Days, in addition to writing two. Byrne's producing credits include the Academy Award-nominated In the Name of the Father. More recently, he has received much critical acclaim for his role as Dr. Paul Weston in the HBO drama In Treatment.
