"They push Irish music in impressionistic directions." - Jon Pareles, The New York Times

"Martin Hayes is one of the best fiddlers on the planet. Dennis Cahill is a subtle guitar master. Put aside your notion of Irish music as a bunch of familiar jigs and reels, and just listen." – Bob Boilen, NPR

Martin Hayes (fiddle) and Dennis Cahill (guitar) are two of the world’s leading artists in traditional Irish music. Their adventurous, soulful interpretations of traditional tunes are recognized the world over for their exquisite musicality and irresistible rhythm. In concert, they hold listeners spellbound with their slow-building, fiery performances, releasing the pure, distilled beauty and vast emotional depths of Irish music. They have toured the world as a duet for over twenty years, and are making waves with their exciting new band The Gloaming.

As a duo, with the Gloaming, and with their many other projects, Hayes and Cahill continue the conversation into Irish music and with audiences worldwide.
