The Letters of Samuel Beckett
with Colum McCann, Annabel Davis-Goff, Belinda McKeon, Colm Tóibín, and the Tesla Quartet

Presented by 92Y and Irish Arts Center

at 92nd Street Y, Buttenwieser Hall, 1395 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10128

Monday, December 12 | 8:15 PM

An evening of words and music to mark the publication of the fourth and final volume of The Letters of Samuel Beckett: 1966-1989, which shows the author struggling to cope with ever-growing international fame (he won the Nobel Prize in 1969), producing some of his finest stage, TV and prose works and turning his attention to his legacy. The letters will be read alongside a performance of one of Beckett’s favorite chamber pieces, Schubert’s Rosamunde Quartet
