Voices of the Gaeltacht
Féile na Gaeilge / Irish Language Day

Sunday, April 17 | 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Come celebrate the Irish language with the Irish Arts Center!

Voices of the Gaeltacht Voices are inherently unique. Voice is a medium through which we express ourselves and our personality. It is this unique use of a language which is preserved to this day in the Gaeltachts of Ireland (districts in Ireland where Gaelic is spoken as a daily language) that we celebrate during Féile na Gaeilge, the IAC’s annual Irish Language Day. Meet other fellow language enthusiasts and explore the voices of the Gaeltacht through education, literature and storytelling, with an awareness of the traditional Gaelic speaker at its heart.
