Eleventh Annual Irish Arts Center NYC Dance Festival
Sunday, May 6 | 1 pm - 8 pm
Riverside Park South
Pier 1 at W 70th Street
Come out to the pier to enjoy a day of great Irish dancing!
Led by Artistic Director Niall O’Leary, T.C.R.G., the Festival is now a start-of-summer tradition when it kicks off the Summer on the Hudson series at Riverside Park South! This celebration of Irish dance and culture is not to be missed, featuring performances from top Irish dance companies from New York and around the country, dance classes for children and adults, music sessions, Irish language classes, a singing circle, children’s face painting, Irish craft vendors and a lively evening-ending céilí for all!
Bring your dancing shoes—the entire day is free and open to all!

A chance for everyone out on the floor!
Don’t just watch, learn! Join us throughout the day for fun, easy to learn traditional Irish dance, in both step dancing and céilí dancing. For all ages.

Performances
Past performers include Darrah Carr Dance, Donny Golden Dancers, Hammerstep, Keltic Dreams, Niall O'Leary Dance Troupe, Niall O'Leary School of Irish Dance, Peter Smith School of Irish Dance, champion step dancer Ashley Smith, Solas an Lae and more.

Children Activities
Visit the children’s tent during the day for arts and crafts, face painting and lessons in the Irish language.
Photography Competition
In addition to the usual family fun, this year’s IAC Dance Festival introduces a special photography competition, which gives children and young people the opportunity to try out their skills and capture all the color and atmosphere of the day. |

This program is made possible, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the York State Legislature and New York State Council on the arts, a public agency.
