An exciting opportunity to learn, participate and experience Irish dance firsthand at the Seventh Annual Irish Arts Center New York City Irish Dance Festival on Sunday May 4th 2008. This unique, all-day, all-ages event will feature not only performances by stars of the Irish dance world and dance schools from the New York area, but also master workshops in many styles of Irish dance, discussion forums, music seisiúns, and set and céilí dancing with live music. The festival will showcase some of the best local and international traditional Irish musicians. Special activities include Irish language classes, a Singer’s Circle, face-painting and much more!

We came, we saw, we played, we danced, we ate, we drank, and we all had a wonderful time at this Irish Arts Center
tradition! Our Fall Picnic and
Céilí-on-the-Hudson was a rousing success.
Musicians and dancers of all skill levels came out to play and rugs were cut by all and sundry. It was a grand day out for the entire family, and we're already planning on learning a few new steps for next year.
