Learn a few tricks of the trade from playwright Deirdre Kinahan who will lead a two-day workshop focusing on the creation and building of character.

Deirdre Kinahan is one of Ireland's most celebrated playwrights; her recent plays These Halcyon Days, Bogboy (both seen at IAC), Moment and Hue and Cry have won awards in Edinburgh and New York. She is an exceptional storyteller, shining a light on the dark corners of contemporary Ireland and creating beautifully truthful characters that live long in memory. Deirdre's next play Spinning will be produced by Fishamble Theatre Company in Dublin fall 2014.
