Irish Dance
with Darrah Carr

Monday, November 18 | 7:00pm - 9:30pm

“ModERIN is a combination of the best of both traditions, essentially creating a new language of movement from two distinct vocabularies of dance…Carr seamlessly blends the dance in ways that are both insightful and illuminating.” - Irish Dancing Magazine

Darrah Carr, Artistic Director of Darrah Carr Dance and champion Irish step dancer, describes her style as ModERIN: a playful combination of traditional Irish step and contemporary modern dance. During this special Master Class, students will get a sneak preview of Carr's latest choreography and learn phrases from the company’s repertory. The Bessie Award nominated company celebrates its 15th Anniversary with a series of performances at the Center from November 22-24.
